Farthingale Calculator
The calculator on the following page will determine both the circumference of each row of boning and the length from the waist for each row for a farthingale. The length for the first row of boning will be twice the distance between any two rows, to allow the wearer to sit comfortably. Additionally, these calculations do not take in to account a bumroll, if worn. Please have the following measurements readily available, as you will be immediately prompted for them: your waist measurement, the circumference of the bottom row of boning, the length from your waist to the floor, less the clearance from the floor which you desire, and the number of rows you desire.
