| Our Venetians are based on the extant breeches in the Germanisches Nationalmusem, examined by Janet Arnold in Patterns of Fashion, and several paintings of the 1570s and 1580s. These Venetians are full at the waist, tapering in to the knees. |

| Made of silk dupioni with cotton broadcloth or muslin linings. All seams are finished. Minimal machine stitching may be visible at the kneebands and waistband. Optional trim up the sides of the legs. |
