| Spanish Cape |
| The Spanish Cape was a short cape with a hood, brought to England mid-century. Our Spanish Cape is made from the patterns in the manuscript by Diego de Freyle and the book "Tailor's Book of Patterns" by Juan de Alcega. The hood is lined in silk charmeuse and is designed to be worn either up or down. The cape is 24-26" in length and the hood falls to about the mid-back. |
|
| Made of silk dupioni or cotton velvet (Black only) with cotton drill and silk charmeuse linings. Minimal machine stitching may be visible at the seam between the hood and cape. |
